Overview
Cursive Generator (cursive-generator.cc) is a free, browser-based tool that turns plain text into cursive and other stylized lettering. It has two output modes on one page. The "Copy as Text" tab converts what you type into Unicode characters that you can paste into Instagram, TikTok, Discord, Google Docs, WhatsApp, X/Twitter, Facebook and similar text fields. The "Download as Image" tab renders the same text in real cursive fonts and exports it as a PNG file for wedding stationery, posters, print-on-demand products and Etsy listings.
The text mode offers 42 Unicode styles, from classic Script and Bold Script to Gothic (Fraktur), Outline (Double-Struck), Bubble, Small Caps, Upside-Down and decorative wrappers such as hearts, stars and sparkles. The image mode offers 42 Google Fonts cursive typefaces, including Great Vibes, Allura, Pinyon Script, Dancing Script, Pacifico and Parisienne. All of those fonts are published under the SIL Open Font License, which the site notes allows commercial use of the PNGs you create.
There is no sign-up. According to the site's privacy policy, all conversion and image rendering happen locally in your browser, the text you type is not stored, and downloaded PNGs are not kept on a server.

- Controls for text size, text color and alignment.
- A transparent background option, so the PNG can be placed over other artwork, mugs, shirts or invitation templates. With the option off, the background is white.
- A "PNG" download button on each font row.
Privacy and access
- Free to use, with no account, email or password required.
- Text conversion and PNG rendering run in the browser. Fonts load from Google Fonts, and the site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
- No first-party tracking cookies, according to the privacy policy.
Use Cases
- Instagram bio: Add a styled name, tagline or bio line. The output is Unicode text, so nothing needs to be installed.
- TikTok display name: Use a bold or italic name that appears in follower lists and on your profile.
- Discord nickname: Set a different stylized nickname for each server. The site notes that the Gothic and bold styles read well on Discord's dark theme.
- Google Docs: Paste cursive characters into titles, headings or signature lines without adding a font to the document.
- Wedding stationery: Render names and phrases in fonts such as Great Vibes, Allura or Pinyon Script for invitations, save-the-dates and signage, and export them as PNGs.
