Overview
HProxy MCP is a hosted Model Context Protocol server from HProxy (hproxy.com), a proxy network and web scraping provider. Any MCP client, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, connects to https://mcp.hproxy.com/mcp: no key, no account, nothing to install.
Three free tools
It gives the assistant three free tools. proxy_list fetches live free proxies from HProxy's public pool, re-checked around the clock, with protocols, anonymity, country, latency and uptime. proxy_check runs a real live test on one or more proxies. ip_lookup returns the country, city, ASN and network of any public IP address.
Where to find it
The server is listed in the official MCP Registry as com.hproxy/mcp, and its code is on GitHub (github.com/hproxy-com/hproxy-mcp). Setup lines for each assistant are at hproxy.com/tools/ai.
How to use
- Open the MCP or connector settings of your AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any other MCP client).
- Add the server address https://mcp.hproxy.com/mcp. No key, no account, nothing to install.
- Ask the assistant for live free proxies (proxy_list), a live test of one or more proxies (proxy_check) or the country, city, ASN and network of an IP address (ip_lookup).
- Setup lines for each assistant are at hproxy.com/tools/ai.
