JobSprout

JobSprout is an AI-powered platform designed to streamline the creation of professional, ATS-friendly CVs and tailored cover letters. It acts as your personal AI assistant, eliminating the repetitive task of explaining your background to generic AI tools. Your work history, skills, and career goals are stored within your profile, allowing the AI to generate highly relevant and personalized documents on demand.

The platform features a sophisticated AI Assistant that understands your existing CV and target role. Users can interact with it via chat to update job titles, add skills, or rewrite entire sections for specific industries, with the AI directly editing the document. Complementing this is the AI Writer, an inline editing tool that provides granular control. Users can select any word, phrase, or section and instruct the AI to refine it—making text shorter, more formal, more technical, fixing grammar, expanding bullet points with metrics, or simplifying paragraphs. Every suggested change can be accepted or rejected, ensuring the user maintains full control over the final output.

JobSprout offers a range of professional CV templates that are meticulously designed to pass Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) screening. These templates are powered by Typst, a modern typesetting system, ensuring perfect spacing, professional typography, and optimal readability for both human recruiters and automated systems. The platform also excels in cover letter generation, creating personalized letters in seconds. Its AI conducts deep research on target companies, analyzing news, culture, and job requirements to craft compelling content that highlights the applicant's most relevant experience.

Compared to alternatives like Rezi or Kickresume, JobSprout distinguishes itself with superior Typst typesetting for cleaner formatting, more granular AI editing capabilities, and the crucial benefit of unlimited PDF downloads without paywalls. It leverages advanced language models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini to provide intelligent assistance. The service offers a free plan with initial AI credits, alongside affordable premium options for unlimited access and advanced features. Users can easily import existing CVs (PDF or Word) for automatic parsing, saving significant time. JobSprout is designed for ease of use, requiring no technical knowledge, and prioritizes data security with industry-standard encryption via Supabase. Upcoming features include CV scoring, interview prep, LinkedIn optimization, and job application tracking, making it a comprehensive career toolkit.
