Overview
Nijia is a native macOS app for understanding storage and making careful cleanup decisions. It combines disk analysis, developer workspace inspection, cleanup review, optional desktop organization, and system monitoring. The app shows context before action; a scan does not itself delete files.
Storage analysis
Use Nijia to explore disk and folder usage, identify where space is concentrated, and inspect the folders behind large totals. Size is only one part of a decision: users can review what an item relates to and decide whether it should remain on the Mac. Analysis can be useful when storage is running low or when a project has accumulated files, without requiring the user to make a change immediately.
Developer workspaces
Nijia can inspect authorized coding workspaces and show Git worktrees, agent-session evidence, and related storage. This helps developers distinguish project source from generated artifacts that may be rebuildable. The app does not assume a large or older workspace is disposable; users review the context and choose what to keep.
Cleanup with review
Cleanup suggestions are presented for review before a user confirms an action. Nijia keeps measurement separate from execution and does not automatically remove files during a scan. Users can narrow scope, leave everything untouched, or proceed only when the proposed action is appropriate. This is designed to protect work and personal data from decisions based on size alone.
Optional AI Desk Tidy
AI Desk Tidy is an optional Nijia feature for arranging desktop files through a proposal users can review. Organization is distinct from deletion. Nijia’s main purpose remains Mac storage analysis and cleanup; AI-assisted organization is one capability, not the whole product.
System Watch and trial
System Watch provides a view of disk, memory, and system load. Nijia’s website describes storage scans, workspace checks, and organization proposals as running locally on the Mac. The full feature set is available in a seven-day trial with no payment card and no automatic charge; a license is required after the trial. Learn more at nijia.app.
