Overview
SeamlessCanvas is a browser-based tool for making seamless textures and repeat patterns. Start with a photo, scan, render or artwork that needs its boundaries repaired, or generate a new surface from a text prompt. It is designed for graphic and surface designers, game and 3D artists, web creators, and people preparing backgrounds, packaging, print or textile artwork.
Image repair and preview
Upload an image and the standard Safe Auto repair starts automatically. Both directions are selected by default, with Horizontal only and Vertical only options for directional repeats. Full blend is also available. Inspect the result as a Single tile or switch between 2x2, the default 3x3, and 5x5 repeat views. An optional seam guide helps locate joins.
Standard repair uses blending without spending AI credits. Optional AI repair can help with a remaining seam, but may change local texture, shapes, spacing or color. Compare continuity with fidelity to the source before deciding which result to download.
Generate a new surface
Use the texture generator for material ideas such as wood, stone, fabric, concrete, marble or paper. The prompt workflow adds square, top-down, borderless and repeat-focused instructions. Use the pattern generator for decorative artwork such as floral, geometric or abstract repeats. Check the tiled preview after generation; outputs are not guaranteed to be perfectly seamless.
Access and export
Guests can try five standard repairs and one AI repair without installing software. Signed-in users can run unlimited standard repairs without spending AI credits. They receive five free AI repairs, with additional AI repairs costing five credits each.
A 512px PNG export is available for free. Paid plans include larger exports, and credits can unlock one-off sizes beyond the plan. Enlarging an export does not create new texture detail.
